Sometimes you just want to kick back and relax with yet another replay of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

However, with the vanilla base game only offering so much content, it is easy for it to start feeling a bit monotonous.

Check out the original trailer for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim below!

Be that as it may, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim still has a legion of dedicated fans who regularly boot up the 2011 Bethesda RPG.

Although, they have nothing better to do considering The Elder Scrolls 6 feels like it may never arrive…

Nevertheless, it is Skyrim’s modding community who are helping keep the game alive and that is definitely the case with this incredible mod.

Midwood Isle is a free-to-download mod from Will Evans over on Nexus Mods.

There is nothing mid about this mod as it adds a brand-new location to Skyrim’s map, complete with a small island home, new quests and adventures and enough new content for it to be classed as a non-official mod.

"One day, Zahkris will rise again, built on the souls of fallen Mer, and he with the soul from Akatosh is the only one who can vanquish Zahkris forever. Should they fall, so will the land of Midwood Isle,” the description reads.

“Travel to the home of the Sonmer, Midwood Isle, an island to the north-west, far outside of Tamriels border.

Discover more about the Sonmer, their history and beliefs, as you face off against new enemies, solve puzzles, explore dungeons and more.”

The “new lands mod” adds a new island, fully voiced NPCs featuring 30+ actors, eleven new quests, 27 unique side quests and a house to purchase, build and furnish with over 250 furnishing items.

As you can see, this mod is basically a free DLC and is available now for free for all PC users who own The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
