Skyrim free download completely overhauls hundreds of characters' appearances

Skyrim's NPCs look refreshed

The Elder Scrolls isn't exactly an unattractive franchise, however, there's no denying that older titles need a fresh lick of paint. One such game that definitely requires that kind of overhaul is Skyrim.

Don't misunderstand us, Skyrim is still an incredible game, dated graphics or not. Nevertheless, we've never going to turn down the opportunity to give those hard working NPCs a makeover; they deserve it, after all.

We never get tired of watching the Skyrim official trailer, do you?

'SOGS-NPCs Overhaul' is a "standalone" mod, meaning that it'll work its magic on appearances without the aid of other downloads. This is fantastic news for those of us who want to just jump into the game without faffing about. Still, to ensure you don't have some naked NPCs walking around, it's worth reading the NexusMods description page. Not that we want to shame the NPCs of Bethesda's fantasy RPG, just nudity in the middle of a battle isn't exactly convenient.

Once you've got all those good looking NPCs roaming around with you, you can turn your attention to other matters, like exploring a whole new region. Or maybe you'd prefer to go dungeon diving in a hidden dungeon few fans know even exists. Whichever way you play Skyrim, this mod will ensure you're all ready to slay no matter what stands in your way.

As we know, the next Elder Scrolls title promises to be the "ultimate fantasy world simulator". Unfortunately, we've got to endure the years between now and when it launches. Consequently, it's better for us to spend our time focusing on the games we can play in the here and now.

Regardless of whether you play Skyrim vanilla or not, just make sure you're not caught with egg on your face after learning of a hidden feature that vastly improves your quality of life in-game. We've suffered that embarrassment so you don't have to.

To check out the NPCs overhaul, just head to NexusMods, read the description, then dive into a world of attractive characters. Enjoy!
