I don’t think you’d find many people these days who limit themselves to playing games of one particular genre.
As for me, I like sinking hours into Red Dead Redemption 2 just as much as I adore returning to my cosy homestead in Stardew Valley.
If you’re sitting there nodding your head in agreement, well my good friend, you have come to the right place.

What if I told you that you could combine both of those games into one experience?
I’ve been having a delightful time with the Beecher’s Hope Expansion mod, created by NexusMods user boimin70, which allows you to create your very own ranch within Red Dead Redemption 2.
Take a look at some of our favourite Red Dead Redemption 2 wins and fails below.
Essentially, the mod expands John’s ranch so that you can utilise all the camp-related mechanics seen throughout the story mode, including donation boxes and various supplies.

“Were you ever wondering why Beecher’s Hope was so stripped down compared to other gang camps in terms of mechanics and interactions? Well, maybe not. However, this mod extends John's ranch to feature (almost) all mechanics from camps seen throughout story mode, so let's jump in,” teases the mod’s description.
You’ll be able to view John’s family cash supply on the game’s UI when you visit Beecher's Hope after installing the mod.
You can then use these funds to purchase supplies and upgrades for the ranch. You’ll gain extra money by completing chores, plus Jack, Abigail, and Uncle will donate money when John is gone.
Additionally, you can now purchase new bits and bobs for your homestead from Albert Cakes, find a supply ledger in John’s journal, and donate animals to your butcher’s table.

What’s not to love? It’s no wonder that the mod has already been downloaded by thousands of fans.
Given that we have no idea what the future holds for Red Dead, we’re going to have to rely on mods to breathe new life into the franchise’s existing entries.
It’s very fortunate for us that Red Dead boasts one of the strongest modding communities out there. Keep up the good work folks.
