There is a mod that players are loving that extends the life of Red Dead Redemption 2, acting as an expansion to the main game. Life of Crime allows players to enjoy more time in the Rockstar wild west adventure.

The mod, created by CruelMasterMC, is supposed to be played as a completely new character, rather than playing as Arthur or John. This is a perfect mod for a clean save file as players will be unlocking weapons and earning money from missions within the new file, plus if you enjoy these changes, there are so many other mods to try.

Take a look at our favourite Red Dead Redemption 2 wins and fails.

Life of Crime allows players to create a new character - including female characters - and take them through an intro mission designed specifically for the mod. Contained in this new adventure are: a new skill tree, a ranking system, one train heist and the intro mission. Currently this mod is intended for use in free-roam activities and uses its own "interaction menu".

In order to start this mod, once downloaded, you will need to speak to "white hat BLIP at copperhead landing," so you'll have to get through the game's official introduction missions, unless you use a 'skip intro' mod to create your save file.

A recent update from the mod creator says, "Update on what's going on: Basically, I'm now gonna release the prologue with all of the free-roam stuff in, and put the story on hold for now." CruelMasterMC intends to continue to support the mod with more story, but it still requires much more time in the oven.

There is still a lot of activity on the Nexus page from players using the mod and looking forward to more details and additions. So, if you've come to the end of your Red Dead Redemption 2 journey and want to push out in a new direction this mod is worth a shot.
