However, the law system in RDR2 has been criticised for being “harsh” and unrealistic.
To this end, Rededrunk has created ‘Rededrunk's Realistic Law Dispatch Response’, a mod that “completely overhauls” the system.
It's an outlaw's life for us in Red Dead Redemption 2
According to its creator, “RDR2 is one of the most realistic games to ever release, but it has many systems that take you out of that immersion. One of them is the law system.”

Consequently, this mod is designed to improve this specific issue.
“This mod changes how law is dispatched (or in some cases not at all) in every single area of the game. This mod will make the game a much more dangerous but believable world.”
How these changes are implemented are many, but the main takeaway is that “dispatched groups are no longer just lawman”.
Simplified even further, this means that others can be hot on your tail if you cause enough trouble.

“Valentine has limited amount of law. Stir enough trouble and the O'Driscoll will come to take you out as you are interfering with their operations in Valentine!” Rededrunk explains.
This “excellent” overhaul has also changed the response times when robbing trains, as well as the number of bounty hunters who’ll come after you.
Also worth checking out is an enhanced edition of the popular title which is said to “massively improve graphics”. If you’re on the run, you may as well look your best while doing it.
The lawless lands of RDR2 just got a major update, some of which will make your life harder depending on your actions.
