Mass Effect 3 gets special fan epilogue you can download free

Who wants more Mass Effect 3?

The Mass Effect series is not only one of developer BioWare’s finest work but for many, it also represents one of the best video game franchises of all time and I agree.

The first game to be released in the Mass Effect series arrived in 2007 for the Xbox 360 before arriving on other platforms in the years that followed. Since that time, BioWare has treated us to two glorious sequels as well as Mass Effect Andromeda in 2017.

Check out the Mass Effect Legendary Edition trailer below!

Now, fans can look forward to a fifth mainline entry in the series following a new Mass Effect announcement at The Game Awards in 2020. That being said, since that time, other than having a few teases for the next Mass Effect, at least officially, we know very little about the game or when it will be released.

We know that it will at least star Liana T’Soni and the return of the Normandy crew, to some extent, but beyond that, fans are mostly left in the dark, eager to learn more details. At this point, it might be safe to assume that the launch of the next highly anticipated Mass Effect game is a few years away, at least.

However, until that time arrives, we can always revisit the classics starring Commander Shepard and his or her loyal crew. After all, each of the games in the original Mass Effect trilogy offers so much replay value, I’m still playing them to this very day and I’m sure you are too.

Yet, if you play Mass Effect on PC, you can add even more life to the beloved classics thanks to the ever-vibrant modding community. One mod in particular called ‘Citadel Epilogue’ is available to download now for free via Nexusmods.

This mod is an adaptation of the 2013 DLC for Mass Effect 3 the ‘Citadel’. The official DLC sees you return to the Citadel with all your friends where you can gamble at the casino, take on a combat area or just simply catch up, it’s basically a Mass Effect high school reunion.

However, the epilogue mod removes all mention of Cerberus and the Reapers' war. It’s just total chill and catching up with your Normandy friends. A remaster of Mass Effect 3 is available now in the Mass Effect Legendary Edition for PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
