Despite rumours swirling that we can expect the second official trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI any day now, Rockstar is here to remind us that it is not done with GTA Online just yet.
One of the most exciting things about Grand Theft Auto VI finally being released next year is that we will no longer have to eagerly anticipate a brand-new trailer, or subsequently be let down when another day passes without it.
Check out the official trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI below!
With the highly-anticipated Rockstar title expected to launch in Fall 2025, fans are still regularly booting up Grand Theft Auto V, or more specifically, its GTA Online counterpart.

GTA Online still remains as one of the most popular online games, with its role-playing community making up a large majority of the player base.
However, Rockstar itself is not done with it as it has recently announced that GTA Online’s PC version will be getting an overhaul in 2025.
In an aim to bring the PC version up to the standard of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, GTA Online will receive ray-tracing and a visual upgrade early next year.
Sharing the news via a community update, the online game will welcome real-time ray-tracing as well as increased detail and draw distances and higher resolutions assets.

Rockstar did not go into too much detail about this update but has confirmed it will share more information via Rockstar Games Newswire in upcoming months.
As well as a visual overhaul, GTA Online for PC is now also home to an additional anti-cheat system “to enhance the security of lobbies and players”.
This comes alongside a new December update which will allow players to convert the Darnell Bros Garment Factory into “a hive for clandestine infiltration operations where you can launch a bevy of thrilling and strategic new robberies.”
Despite GTA VI arriving in just a year’s time, it appears as though Rockstar is far from done with GTA Online so we will have something to make the upcoming year go a lot faster.
