Amazon’s The Boys may be receiving mixed reviews in its most recent season but that doesn’t mean that fans aren’t eager to see the corrupt superheroes make their way to the video game sphere.
First airing in 2019 and with its most recent season, season four, currently airing, Amazon’s The Boys is a satirical superhero series which begs the question, what happens when those heroes go rogue?
Check out the trailer for season four of The Boys below!
The adult action comedy has been met with critical acclaim in recent years but with its most recent season receiving mixed reviews due to its focus on shock factor over a good narrative, it seems it is the right idea to make its upcoming fifth season its final.

However, that doesn’t mean that fans of the show aren’t eager to see The Boys be made into a video game.
We have already seen Homelander recently make an appearance in Mortal Kombat as well as popping up in Call of Duty but despite rumours that Amazon had plans to develop a video game based on the hit show, it has not yet come to fruition.
For now, fans will have to make do with Homelander himself taking to the streets of Los Santos in Grand Theft Auto V courtesy of a mod by The Darth Knight.
The mod, which is locked behind a paywall, sees Homelander face off against the LSPD by using his laser eyes to blow them, and their vehicles up before taking to the sky to shoot down their helicopter units. You can see him in action courtesy of this video posted to Twitter.
It wasn’t long before fans were expressing their excitement for the mod with one saying, “This game looks dope!”

Another said: “The Boys need to make a game ASAP”.
It remains to be seen if we will ever see an official The Boys video game but with such a dedicated fanbase, it is no doubt that it will be a day one hit.
