Grand Theft Auto VI may be on the not-so-distant horizon but that doesn’t mean that Rockstar is ready to put down tools when it comes to Grand Theft Auto V.
That is why a Grand Theft Auto V update, which was brought to PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X/S back in 2022, has now made its way to PC.
Check out the first, and only, trailer for GTA VI below!
Known as Grand Theft Auto V: Expanded & Enhanced, the update introduces improved graphics, enhanced audio settings, AMD FSR and NVIDIA DLSS support, and various other upgrades that will boost GTA 5’s performance and look.

The old version, Grand Theft Auto V Legacy, will now be replaced by Expanded & Enhanced (unless you choose to keep it) but there is no reason not to take advantage of the free download.
As well as the aforementioned upgrades, there will also be brand-new ray-tracing, ambient occlusion, global illumination and better support for aspect ratios, frame rates, and higher resolutions.
Additionally, thanks to support for the AMD and NVIDIA, players will notice faster loading times if they use SSDs and DirectStorage which is something that we all look out for.
If you are interested in the improved audio settings, you will be pleased to know that this update enhances Dolby Atmos support, as well as increasing support for dialogue, cutscenes, and music.

However, GTA Online players are not being left in the dust as there have been some new additions to the mode.
Those checking out the mode for the first time can bag themselves an impressive $4,000,000 cash bonus.
Not only that, brand-new vehicles and content additions have also been added so the popular online mode shows no signs of slowing down despite Grand Theft Auto VI releasing later this year.
However, this may be the last big update for GTA Online ahead of 6’s launch so definitely take advantage of it if you are a PC gamer.
