Ghost of Tsushima is easily one of my favourite PlayStation exclusives, so it’s lovely to now see new players experiencing Jin Sakai’s epic journey over on PC.
If you recently picked up Ghost of Tsushima’s PC port, make sure that your copy of the game is up to date as a brand new patch has arrived, and it’s a respectable 6.7GB in size.
It’s downloadable via both the Epic Games Store and Steam, and brings a number of welcomed big fixes and stability improvements.

Several of the changes concern adjustments to audio cut-off to improve the stability of the game for those using an AMD RX 7000 series GPU.
The PlayStation PC SDK has also been updated to Version 2.16 to improve compatibility for Windows 11 Insider Preview versions.
An issue has been fixed that could cause the game to start with a black screen when HDR is enabled on Windows 10, as has another issue that could occur when combining HDR with Exclusive Fullscreen on Windows 10.
Take a look at Ghost of Tsushima in action on PC below.
The patch notes additionally confirm that the Sword Glint effect now works correctly in Photo Mode, whilst opening Photo Mode with an Xbox or Steam Deck controller no longer also takes a screenshot.

The ‘A moment in Time’ achievement should now unlock correctly when using a mouse, and mouse and keyboard prompts for Heavenly Strike are now displayed correctly in Legends mode.
The update has also fixed an issue that caused screenshots taken with the Epic Games Store version to be displayed incorrectly.
“We are grateful that so many players on PC are discovering the beautiful island of Tsushima and we really appreciate all the feedback that has helped us to further improve the game so far,” developers added.
If you do encounter any additional problems, you can log those with either Nixxes or Sucker Punch, hopefully to be addressed in a future patch update.
