Fallout 4 has received a new expansion called Fallout: America Rising, bringing a new story, characters, locations and more bonus content to the game.
There’s nothing quite like the Bethesda modding community, who’ve created thousands of mods for several prominent titles like Fallout 4, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and very soon, Starfield, which promises to be a modder’s paradise.
Check out the trailer for Starfield below
They tend to range from graphics and performance enhancements, to new weapons and gameplay features, and sometimes, full-blown questlines with unique dialogue and activities.

The latter is what we’ll be talking about today, specifically the Fallout: America Rising mod, which adds an avalanche of new content to Fallout 4, integrated seamlessly into the main campaign.
This includes an original storyline, with a description that reads: “You've woken up after 200 years of cryogenic preservation. The world you knew, the people you love, all replaced by a twisted and desolate wasteland. You then discover that there are others like you. Others working towards bringing back that world you lost. Is it all too good to be true?”
Standout features include a seven-quest storyline, two new companions, multiple new locations, over 1,000 lines of voiced dialogue, new characters, a new radio station, a new skin for your Pip-Boy, random encounters and repeatable quests.
The expansion mod can be accessed by any player from level five onwards, though the mod’s creator recommends new players reach level 10 before starting the quest for the best experience. It also offers support for additional mods.

Simply put, this mod is perfect for players who’ve grown bored of Fallout 4’s base game and don’t want to put up with the increasingly long wait for Fallout 5.
Fallout: America Rising can be downloaded and played right now via NexusMods for PC owners of Fallout 4.
