Ever wondered what Fallout 4 looks like with over 300 mods? Beautiful… it looks beautiful.
I’m sure it’s not lost on Bethesda how lucky it is to have a community willing to devote hours to its games just through mods alone.

Thousands of mods have been created, and many more playthroughs have been completed with them installed. It’s arguably one of the reasons Starfield dropped its player count as quickly as it did, because the mod support isn’t there yet. Whatever way you slice it, mods are a staple of Bethesda games, and this version of Fallout 4 features over 300 of them.

You can find the full list of mods used here, and you can clearly see this is the definition of ultra-modded. There are so many included here, all of which go a long way in completely transforming the game visually and in gameplay.
The gameplay also benefits from Reshade Ray Tracing, specifically this one, for some extremely beautiful effects. The shader will allow players to add GI, AO, Matte, and Glossy Reflections to their version of the game, provided you’ve got a PC that can support the enhanced graphics.
It looks gorgeous, and we’d go as far as to say the game has never looked better. If Fallout 5 looks anywhere near as good as this, it’ll be worth the agonisingly long wait till its launch.
For those who’d rather let Bethesda do all the work though, Fallout 4 is set to receive a next-gen upgrade for Xbox and PlayStation platforms. This was originally planned to be released in 2023, but was unfortunately pushed back to 2024, this year.

It’s unknown when the update will officially drop, but when it does it’ll be well worth replaying the game again, and besides, nothing is stopping you from slapping on a few mods for good measure anyway.
