FromSoftware’s latest release Elden Ring: Nightreign is a thrill, if played in the right way.
You see, its formula is just perhaps a tad too punishing to enjoy solo and there is currently no duos mode; devs have revealed that’s now something they hope to implement in the future though.
That means that unless you have two buddies free to form a trio, you’re probably not going to get the optimum experience.

It’s with that in mind that I sense many who prefer gaming alone may find themselves flocking back to the base game, Elden Ring.
After all, very few of us have truly conquered all that there is to within the Lands Between.
If you do find yourself yearning for a taste of something new, however, you’ll soon be able to enhance the game with the ‘Garden of Eyes’ mod, an expansion that implements new bosses, weapons, spells, and locations.
Developed by the Garden of Eyes Mod Team, the mod remains without a release date for now, but a public demo has just been launched, granting PC users a taste of what’s on offer.

The public demo for what modders are referring to as “one of the most ambitious Elden Ring overhaul projects to date” can be downloaded from NexusMods right now.
Of course, this demo offers just a slice of what should be present in the final mod, but there’s still plenty to keep you busy.
‘The Garden of Eyes - Public Demo’ includes several “unique and reimagined areas”, including Guardians’ Garrison, Port of Tidetail, Illo Telurat, and Table of Restored Grace.
It also features new bosses and mini-bosses, including: Leashed Demon of Helphen, Creta the Fell Crucible Knight, Mirror Abberations, Nox Water Sorcerers, Revamped Mohg Lord of Blood (hidden as a secret boss), Namtur Dancer of the Brisk Waters, Godskin Enforcer, and Promised Consort Malenia (boss).

Developers did add that “item and stat requirements have been lowered to encourage exploration and experimentation,” explaining “enemy placements and scaling do not reflect their final versions in the full release”.
As for classes, the mod demo features six options, each with their own weapons, spells, and mechanics.
Players can opt to play as a Drake Slayer, Forsaken Guardian, Nox Water Sorcerer, Time Seer, Enshrined Dragonpriest, or Giantsflame Votary.
And there are new features to sample; the fun never ends!

Elemental Ferver, new horse mounts, gun parrying, a “true midnight” option, and a “become the boss” function are just a few of the new features you’ll be able to check out.
It’s wild to think that this is just the demo for ‘Garden of Eyes’. Just think of how much content the full release will bring.
The only downside here is that this mod is PC only but if that’s not a barrier for you, I heartily recommend you check this one out as soon as possible.
