Cyberpunk 2077 free download adds new ‘story driven’ quest you can grab now

Cyberpunk 2077 is already full to the brim with stuff to do across its highly-detailed open-world map.

From its main missions to side quests, collectibles, random events, and the chance to take down some Cyber Psychos, players can easily rack up the hours whilst playing Cyberpunk 2077.

However, with the CD Projekt RED title being set in such a unique setting, it is no wonder that fans are eager for a reason to spend more time there and luckily, this mod allows just that.

Created by QuestRunner, Disappearance of 8ug8ear is a custom mod which allows players to embark on a story-driven quest with a lot of action.

Not only that but this mod introduces the Quest Runner feature which will see players able to custom build their very own multi-stage quests.

First though, the Disappearance of 8ug8ear follows the story of Cyberpunk 2077’s Beatrice Ellen Trieste, otherwise known as 8ug8ear who, after taking on a secret job, has not been seen or heard from for the last few months.

However, one day you receive a distress message from her. But is it really from her?

As a result, you will embark on a mission to find out what happened to 8ug8ear and discover if she is dead or alive.

However, this mission will only begin if you manage to save her in the ‘Getting Warmer’ quest.

Additionally, the Quest Runner feature is also free to download, and its description reads as follows:

“This is the first mission using Quest Runner. It's a new system that anyone can use to build custom missions with multiple stages.

It makes starting such a difficult endeavour much easier. It provides a structure to follow but without too much hand holding. It gives you full flexibility for using code over configuration.”

This is one of just many of the free downloads available for Cyberpunk 2077 fans as a way of making Night City even more alive and pretty damn chaotic.
