Batman: Arkham City has been blessed with a remaster mod called Batman: Arkham City Ascension, making it worth replaying.
In all honesty Batman: Arkham City isn’t my favourite game in the Arkham trilogy, and it’s one I almost never want to replay, mostly due to the bleak setting and how slow the traversal can be.
Take a look at the trailer for the. new Batman game, Batman: Arkham Shadow
This PC overhaul might be enough to bring me back though, as it’s polished the game with enhanced visuals, better upgrades, and improved combat just to name a few things.

Batman: Arkham City Ascension is available to download right now from Nexusmods, and aims to spice up the gameplay of Arkham City in several different ways.
New moves and upgrades have been imported from Batman: Arkham Knight, and to balance things out some of the upgrades from Arkham City have been removed, in addition to armour enhancements for the world’s greatest detective.
The upgrade system has also been adapted to make some upgrades easier to get, all in an effort to make combat more interesting as enemy AI has been tweaked to make them more aggressive.
It also makes the game more difficult in other ways through new difficulty settings, for players who know the game inside and out and need a greater challenge to keep themselves engaged.

All in all, it’s a pretty good overhaul mod. When looking at the sheer amount of content it adds and changes it makes to bring it closer to Batman: Arkham Knight, it might as well be an entirely new game.
You can also combine it with any graphics or texture mods you see fit, for an even greater experience.
You can download Batman: Arkham City Ascension for free from Nexusmods right now, give it a go.
