We could all simply scream into the void over which is the best Assassin’s Creed game, or we can skip that part and enjoy a remaster of one of the greatest instalments in the franchise. We know which we’d prefer to do.
After the crushing blow that left fellow fans disappointed after it was revealed an Assassin’s Creed title has been pushed back until at least 2025, we need something good and true to cling onto. Ezio is that something, or, should we say, someone.
The only issue with the game is that it’s quite dated by today’s standards, which can make returning to it mildly taxing. Thankfully, a modder has answered our prayers, gifting us ‘Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood Remastered’ for absolutely nothing; just download it and play.

Let's take a moment to remmeber the E3 premiere of Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, and how stunning it was
“Hello. I just wanted to tell you that your mod is perfect. Spectacular,” posted someone who’s already played this revamped rendition. “I was looking for a mod to make the Ezio saga look like the PS4 Ezio Collection version but yours, my friend, is better!!”
Someone else shared how this mod had made their “Assassins Creed marathon” “more pleasant”, before they added that it’s a “great mod”. All in all, most players are incredibly happy with this free download that’s helping this “ancient game” look fresh faced once again.

You can also savour more Ezio goodness by checking out a new release that stars everyone’s favourite roguish Italian. And should you wish to leave behind Ezio and tangle with another one of the many Ac leads, there are plenty of stunning remakes – like the gorgeous Blag Flag remaster everyone is talking about.
Ubisoft may be making us wait for newer AC instalments, but there’ll always be the old games to return to. In truth, we suspect no amount of innovation in this franchise will be able to top the absolute joy those early outings gifted gamers.
