It pains me to say this but I can’t quite believe that The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is not yet available on Nintendo Switch.
Every time a Nintendo Direct rolls around, I convince myself that news of a port is coming.
It feels like such easy money for Nintendo and yet, here we are.

In fact, I’m astounded that we’re getting a brand new mainline The Legend of Zelda entry just over a year after Tears of the Kingdom was released and yet not a Twilight Princess port.
In case you missed it, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom was unveiled last week.
Returning to the art style of entries like Link’s Awakening, Echoes of Wisdom will see us play as the titular princess Zelda instead of Link.
This unexpected reveal is a game I cannot wait to get my hands on later this year, on 26 September to be exact.

If you’re still disappointed by the lack of Twilight Princess news though, I have an incredible fan project to highlight that may bring you some peace and solace.
ICYMI: Take a look at the trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom below.
YouTuber Henriko Magnifico has completely overhauled Twilight Princess’ graphics, creating a stunning remaster that you too can emulate.

The YouTuber explains that they ran a purchased copy of Twilight Princess through an emulator with custom injected 4K textures and shaders.
That aforementioned texture pack is available to download via Henriko’s site but you will need your own copy of Twilight Princess.
It goes without saying that game files are not distributed for copyright reasons.
You can take a look at the project in action below.
“Ripped the textures straight from my memories. This is how incredible it looked to me when I was young,” said one viewer.

“I loved how TP looked before but now, wow this is magnificent,” commented another.
An incredible project that’s well worth checking out.
