Pokémon Scarlet and Violet freebie available for 72 more hours

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet freebie available for 72 more hours

Once this one-of-a-kind freebie is gone, it's gone forever

You have less than 72 hours left to snag one of the rarest Pokémon freebies of all time– and if this is the first you’re hearing about it, you may want to jump in ASAP because you’re going to need a solid team to claim this legendary beast.

Last year (by which I mean two weeks ago, happy New Year) the official Pokémon Twitter account revealed that a Shiny Rayquaza can be caught in a limited-time 5-Star Tera Raid Battle in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Anyone who’s attempted a Tera Raid Battle in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet knows that they’re not the easiest missions to best, which is especially true when you’re battling a legendary Pokémon.

To make matters worse, Rayquaza isn’t just some legendary– they’re arguably one of the strongest Pokémon in existence.

So, considering you only have 72 hours left to beat the Tera Raid Battle and claim the Shiny Rayquaza for yourself, you might want to start forming a team now.

You absolutely can complete the battle solo with the help of some of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s NPCs, but it will be much, much easier if you hop online with some other folks instead.

If you do plan to go it alone, I suggest giving the video “10 BEST Pokémon You Can Use for Shiny Rayquaza, Raid Build Guide” by YouTuber PKMNcast a watch at the very least, as it’ll help you form a solid solo strategy.

Whatever you do, just make sure you do it quick.

I very much doubt we’ll ever see Shiny Rayquaza pop up like this ever again, so if you miss out you’ll likely have to just reset legendary battles for an eternity if you want to nab one instead.

If you’ve ever tried resetting for a shiny, you know how much of a pain that is, so save yourself the hassle and grab the guaranteed Shiny Rayquaza while you still can.
