Pokémon remakes of our dreams!

Pokémon fans are surprised with an awesome 3D remake that we can play for free right now.

The Pokémon franchise is one of the most popular brands of entertainment in the world whether it's Nintendo games, mobile spin-offs, animations and of course, traditional card games.

Check out the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet trailer below!

The most recent mainline entries in the series are Pokémon Scarlet and Violet released for the Nintendo Switch in 2022, both of which perhaps never launched in the best state with many fans criticising its lack of evolution and underwhelming visuals.

In our review of Pokémon Scarlet, we said it has: “finally delivered on the promise of an open-world entry, but with all the technical issues and stripped-back features, it’s hard to not feel like the Nintendo Switch held these games back.”

Over the years we’ve been treated to some fantastic Pokémon video games with arguably its best entries being released on handheld consoles such as the Game Boy, Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS.

Some of those games include Pokémon Fire Red and Leaf Green, Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, as well as Pokémon Black and White, to name a few. And it’s the latter of which that is today’s topic of discussion.

As reported by DSOGaming, indie developer ArcSin Jesse has released two playable builds of fan-made remakes of Pokémon Black and White, powered by Unreal Engine 5. The first demo takes place in N’s castle and the second demo in the Sinnoh region.

Each of the two demos has been created using original assets, which should make them safe from Nintendo’s lawyers. They’re also both very faithful creations featuring the traditional battle mechanics of the video game series.

Information on how to download and play the demos can be found in the description of the YouTube gameplay video. Just make sure you have anti-virus software activated, just in case.

The next big launch in the series is Pokémon Legends: Z-A releasing sometime in 2025.
