The post notes that 2025 marks the 30th anniversary of Pokémon and wonders if the developers and Nintendo might cook up something special.
To be honest, the original post lays out a good few possibilities, but replies narrow down where they think players might end up.
“If it will be set in either Asia or Oceania, I bet in Australia. This continental country is widely known by its unique biodiversity, eccentric native vegetation and surrounded by mystery,” says SuperMario_128.

This is pointed out by another user who says, “Japan unironically. 30th anniversary is a big deal and Japan, the birthplace of Pokémon, would be the perfect place to celebrate with Gen 10.”
Grymare has their preferences locked in, commenting, “I would love to see Africa or South America as well.”
Another suggestion comes from Noxilcash who said, “I REALLY want an Egyptian based gen.”
