Nintendo Switch 2 users have only just 24 hours to claim these Mario freebies.

If you’re a Nintendo Switch user, particularly one subscribed to Nintendo Switch Online, you’ll often be able to grab some freebies which enhance your online experience.

For example, Nintendo Switch Online offers a few free games for you to play, such as Tetris 99 and F-Zero 99. There’s also the Nintendo Classics game libraries consisting of retro libraries going all the way up to GameCube.

In addition to this, you can also grab icons and accessories for those avatars to use on your Nintendo Switch profiles. These can be bought using Platinum Points, which is a free currency earned from doing various online activities.

Nintendo regularly adds and removes new icons, so it’s always worth checking out the page to see what the current selection is like.

You can find it by heading to the Nintendo Switch Online app on your Switch console and then navigating to the Missions & Rewards section.

At the moment, Nintendo Switch Online is featuring a bunch of Super Mario-related icons and accessories that you can claim.

If you have the Platinum Points to spare, you can grab yourself icons featuring the likes of Mario, Yoshi, and Princess Peach. It also uses some assets from Super Mario Odyssey and Mario Kart 8 promotional materials.

But be warned, these icons can only be claimed before tomorrow, 30 June. After this date, Nintendo will remove these icons and replace them with a fresh batch.

Considering July sees the release of Donkey Kong Bananza, we’re counting on some slick DK icons to be added to the subscription service.

If you’re worried about missing out, Nintendo usually brings back old icons from time-to-time. So it’s worth regularly checking out the Nintendo Switch Online app to see what’s available.
