Nintendo Switch 2's official name and logo have now leaked along with everything else

Nintendo Switch 2's official name and logo have now leaked along with everything else

Nintendo's next home console has had pretty much everything about it leaked online

The Nintendo Switch 2 still hasn’t been revealed by Nintendo, a decision that might now haunt them as pretty much everything about it has leaked online.

Nintendo’s next home console is on many people’s wishlists right now, and apparently the company will be giving us our first, official, look at the console later this month, though this is unconfirmed.

Don’t expect much from the design by the way, as it’s basically just a Nintendo Switch OLED but bigger

This would be exciting news, if most of the console and even some of its games hadn’t been leaked ahead of time.

So far, we’ve seen models of the console itself including the new magnetic joycons, some of the accessories, and now even the official logo.

The official logo isn’t much to look at by the way, it’s just the same logo as the previous Switch but with the number two slapped next to it, not sure what anyone was expecting.

To be fair it’s only a console, it’s not like the reveal and launch are completely ruined by the leaks, it's just unfortunate for Nintendo.

That said many believe the leaks will bring the official reveal forward, and in what can only be described as a very strange coincidence the banner of the Nintendo US page on X has updated its banner to show Mario and Luigi presenting a blank background.

This means it could be any day now when we finally get that reveal, and confirmation on whether the leaks have all been credible up to this point if a few skewed the details a bit.

As for when the console will launch, insiders claim Nintendo is eyeing up March or April, which would make a lot of sense considering how few games we know of coming out this year, many of which will likely have been developed with the Switch 2 in mind.

All that’s left to do now is watch this space and all of Nintendo’s social media accounts for that reveal.
