A Famiboards post has pointed to the Nintendo Switch 2 release date, though fans are left pretty torn on the legitimacy of the rumour.
It seems like every other day we get a new Switch 2 rumour and without an announcement from Nintendo, they will keep coming.

A recent post on Famiboards states that the Switch 2 will launch in March 2025.

This came buried in a post about the next Pokémon, which is hinted to be a remake of Pokémon Black and White.
Codenamed ‘Ounce,’ the Switch successor is supposed to be announced January 2025 for a speedy release in March.
However, Redditors responding to the post seem sceptical.
“That would honestly be a shockingly low timespan between announcement and release,” said Schitzl1996.

I remain convinced that Nintendo is a law unto themselves and will forever buck the trend of what is expected.
For all we know, this is their plan and it would be a radical one.
AlucardIV also doesn’t see this happening, “January reveal is basically the new safe bet now that there is little chance of an announcement this year but release in march? That’s way too close.”
The scepticism keeps coming from this Redditor, “Sure a reveal in January is possible, but a release in March? Not happening.”

Nintendo is known for quick turnarounds though. When the Switch was announced it didn’t take long to get a full run down of the console and a short wait until release.
The Japanese developer might not want to leave players waiting around for a long time between announcement and the console shipping.
This would also line up with recent rumours that the company has been stockpiling parts for the much-rumoured console.
Let’s throw some salt out that and put this down to speculation for now, but bookmark this just in case it turns out to be correct.
