As the hype train for the Nintendo Switch 2 begins to gather steam, fans are constantly guessing at which titles will support the system on launch.
We already know that Mario Kart 9 is likely a certainty, and other games are now starting to appear slowly.
Will Metal Gear Solid be a supporting title for the Switch 2?
Until Nintendo reveals their hand, everything is speculation, so keep that in mind.

It’s likely that, after the hardware reveal in the April Nintendo Direct, we’ll start seeing more official reveals of supporting games.
There will be a bunch of third-party titles making their way over from current consoles, as well as some fresh releases to take advantage of the new Nintendo system.
Now, according to YouTuber Nate the Hate, it appears that Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, will be one of the earliest games available for the Nintendo Switch 2.
While there is no release date currently set for the Metal Gear Solid remake, it could be held back to align with the new hardware.

It would make sense to keep some release dates back for Nintendo to reveal a stacked set of launch titles, enticing more players to preorder.
Will Nate the Hate be correct? Well, the industry leaker has been right in the past, and correctly predicted a great deal on the Switch 2 in the lead up to the showing from Nintendo.
If the hardware is a step-up in terms of power from the original Nintendo Switch, games like Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater would certainly show that off.
It’s an exciting time and the next few months will continue to build on that, as a new console is always a highlight for the industry, for both fans and developers.
