The Nintendo Switch 2 - gaming’s white whale, it seems.
We know it’s there, Nintendo has plans to announce it sometime soon, and developers are making games for it, but so little is known of this rare beast.
Nintendo Switch Online brings a wealth of classic games to the Nintendo Switch.
We’ve had glimpses of possible prototypes and machined parts from the manufacturing process, and now we’ve got some idea of price.

That's according to an industry leaker called Samus Hunter, who has spoken on Twitter about a possible price point for the new console.
Take this with your usual pinch of salt, of course, but they said, “For the price I heard it would have been on the lower side of this range, not $500 but most likely $399-449.”
Continuing on from this, they also touched on a possible release window, stating, “a late spring release like June.”
This puts the Nintendo Switch 2 at a slightly higher price than many have been led to believe recently.

Of course, with technology developing at a rapid pace and going further than ever before, it wouldn’t be a surprise if the console was costly to put together.
You’d better start saving now, just in case this turns out to be true.
Leaks on the Switch 2 are gathering pace as we near that supposed time that Nintendo will show their hand.
We’ve seen supposed images of the new Joy Cons, seen possible design mockups, and heard constant rumblings about when the thing is due to ship.

Nothing is set in stone until Nintendo, in their usual fashion, suddenly drops word of a Nintendo Direct to show off the console.
The price rumoured will set tongues wagging as many decide if they can drop that kind of cash on a new system.
Let’s hope we get a nice surprise when the thing is finally unveiled.
