Steam users can take advantage of so many discounts during the Summer Sale, one of which is a sci-fi trilogy masterpiece.

The Summer Sale on Steam is one of the best times of year to grab some top-of-the-line discounts on the latest and greatest titles, including Elden Ring, The Witcher 3, and Cyberpunk 2077 to name a few.

Maybe even treat yourself to Elden Ring: Shadow OF The Erdtree, which you can check out below

While there are loads of games to choose from, allow us to wholeheartedly recommend an entire trilogy of beloved games, which you can get for next to nothing right now.

Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, which contains the remastered versions of Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, Mass Effect 3 and over 40 DLC packs, is now a mere £4.99 on the Steam store.

With a “very positive” rating on the storefront, the Mass Effect games take you on a grand tour of the galaxy as your own interpretation of Shepard, where you’ll meet, and even romance, a wide variety of characters and creatures while battling aliens.

If you’re a Steam Deck player like myself the trilogy will work on your device, though at the moment it’s only listed as Playable, meaning there might be the odd hiccup or hurdle to overcome every now and then. Worry not though, as Playable usually means it works fine.

It’s some of EA’s best work in terms of video games, and getting three titles plus all of the DLC for a fiver is an absolute steal, regardless of your prior knowledge on the series or not.

Maybe after you’ve finished them you can be a bit daring and give Mass Effect: Andromeda a go, which is actually in a much better state since its rocky launch.

Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is on sale until 11 July, so you’ve got plenty of time to weigh up your options.
