Hogwarts Legacy fans think the old Harry Potter games should be brought back and remastered for modern platforms.
While it probably won’t win Game Of The Year, there’s no denying the impact Hogwarts Legacy has had on Xbox, PlayStation and PC platforms. It’s not finished either, as the game is still planned to be released on Nintendo Switch, though, after several delays, fans believe it’ll need a miracle to actually launch on the system.

Regardless it’s become the most successful Harry Potter game ever released, though fans have been looking back to the old movie/book tie-in games, believing Hogwart Legacy’s success may have paved the way for their return.

Reddit user Puzzleheaded-Storm85 made a post saying: “Does anyone want the old Harry Potter on the current gen of gaming? I would love to play all these games again, especially the PS2 ones, all the exploration and secrets and classrooms, they were really the best games I played as a kid. I think some remakes would be very very well received by the game community. What do you think?”
Fans were in agreement, believing either re-releases or remakes/remasters would be ideal given the success Hogwarts Legacy has had with new and old Harry Potter fans.
“I would love the quidditch World Cup game on current gen”
“It would be AMAZING. First three in a pack. Just add the support and accessibility of the games and you’re good to go”

“The first three for sure. I’m never gonna consider getting the Premium tier of PS+ until they add them in. The Premium line-up has always sucked anyway”
Whether or not Warner Bros Games has plans to bring the old titles back is another question, though given the enormous success Hogwarts Legacy has been, being one of the best-rated games of the year despite the steep competition, there’s definitely an audience for their return.
