GTA VI is on the way, it’s just taking an awfully long time to get here. Not to worry though, in the meantime fans can theorise what features they’re hoping to see borrowed from other Rockstar Games titles…
One such feature is arguably one of the coolest things Red Dead Redemption 2 did with its open world, structures actually being built over the course of the game.

It’s a detail you might have missed during your playthrough, but there are several instances where buildings and other structures are put together over several in-game weeks. This applies to houses made of wooden beams, only to be fully-built later in the game, though my personal favourite are the railways, as you can see the workers gradually work their way down the track hammering in the bolts.

GTA VI is set to be the most realistic world Rockstar Games has ever made, so it only seems fitting that the various towns and cities in Leonidas gradually expand over the time, whether it be through actual in-game events or post-launch updates.
In a Reddit post discussing the potential feature, one user believes the open world for GTA VI will change dynamically. They said “In the leaks and the trailer we have seen multiple construction sites. I don't think they will leave them empty since there were more than 3 hidden in the background.”
Another pointed out how GTA V’s Los Santos had a skyscraper under construction when the game first released, saying “It's been a decade and that building in Los Santos has made no progress whatsoever smh.”
Finally one user thinks it would be cool to see existing buildings in GTA VI be “knocked down for redevelopment,” possibly opening up new stores and activities for the characters to visit during the story.

Who knows what Rockstar has planned for GTA VI, but if it adopts even half of Red Dead Redemption 2’s best features, while adding its own to the mix, it may just be the greatest game of all time.
