Grand Theft Auto fans believe Rockstar is prepping the GTA VI trailer after suspicious activity on its website.
We’re potentially days away from the first official trailer for GTA VI. Not too long ago Rockstar Games announced we’d be getting our first look at the game as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations, with a vague premiere date of “December.”

Since then fans have gone wild, and rightly so as the last few months have been filled with speculation, theories and rumours surrounding the game itself as well as its release date, which is expected to launch sometime in 2025.

Now theories have shifted to when exactly Rockstar will drop the highly anticipated trailer. While some believe it could pop up somewhere during The Game Awards, others believe Rockstar will stick to its usual approach of sharing the new trailer through its own social media and website, as it did with GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2.
At the moment fans are thinking the trailer will drop early in December, and their evidence is a massive change to the official Rockstar Games website.
Shared via the @RStarUniverse, Rockstar’s website has reportedly been updated to have a “sub-menu at the top of the page and displays Social Club info. This means, as the tweet puts it, that the two separate websites are “now integrated,” which could have been done to accommodate the upcoming GTA VI information page.
As always this has to be taken with a grain of salt, but Rockstar Games is notorious for making little to no changes to its website unless something big is on the way, and what could be bigger than the next iteration of Grand Theft Auto?

In other news, some of the GTA V actors have been saying their goodbyes to the soon-to-be-obsolete entry, though others are teasing their return in future projects or DLC.
The Grand Theft Auto VI trailer will drop sometime in December 2023, and while a release date is still unknown, it’s confirmed to be released for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5, with a PC release either at the same time or sometime after.
