Where else better to celebrate the launch of GTA VI than Vice City?
When GTA VI will actually be released is still up for debate, though fans have better narrowed down the possible date thanks to the Borderlands 4 announcement.
Many fans believe Rockstar is just teasing them now, yet that isn’t stopping them from planning ahead to the first week of GTA VI’s release.

Everyone is braced to see news articles about mass work absences when the game is out, and honestly, we don’t blame them.
This is one of the biggest video games in years, it makes sense that people want to use their vacation days to visit Vice City.
We've seen it so many times already, yet we keep watching the GTA VI trailer...
Some Rockstar fans have gone as far as suggesting that launch day should be turned into a public holiday due to the amount of people calling in sick.

“Might as well be a Public holiday. It's not just retail that's going to be impacted by this,” suggested Jazzar1n0 on r/GTA6.
“I do not care what they say I'm not coming into work,” joked No-Marionberry1724.
Everyone has their reasons prepared for why they can’t make it into work or school that week, but it remains to be seen whether their bosses/teachers are okay with it.
If this many people are off, they won’t have much of a say in the matter.

We could be getting way too ahead of ourselves though, despite the confidence we have in our belief that we’re finally nearing that finish line.
When Rockstar announces the specific launch date, you may as well take that day off work too because the internet is going to lose it.
