GTA 6's open-world is even bigger than we thought

GTA 6's open-world is even bigger than we thought

Now would be a great time for that second trailer...

GTA VI could have a bigger open-world than we first believe, making even Red Dead Redemption 2 look small in comparison.

That’s saying a lot too because Red Dead Redemption 2 was massive, and that game was made for the last-gen consoles like the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Hopefully we get a new-gen upgrade at some point, as I think we’re always down to play Red Dead Redemption 2 again

GTA VI on the other hand is being made with the latest hardware in mind, and with that power will come a truly impressive open-world.

Fans have been trying to plot their own map and put everything into perspective by rewatching the first trailer, picking out its various landmarks and trying to get a good view of what’s visible in the distance.

During their efforts, a shot of what’s likely the Vice City beach has been doing the rounds as fans believe the enormous promenade is actually a tiny part of the overall map, unlike Vespucci Beach in GTA V.

Just to put this into perspective. This whole area in the photo is only that much of the entire map” said boogymann0, before going on to say “correct me if i’m wrong about this but this is actually insane. The scale of this map is mind boggling.”

Now it’ll no doubt be a big map but the question is how populated will it be? Keep in mind that a huge portion of GTA V’s map was wilderness and mountain ranges so it’ll be interesting to see how much of GTA VI will be wildlife focused as well.

Red Dead Redemption 2 made it work because of the time it was set in, but for GTA VI fans are going to want some massive concrete jungles to explore, along with more serene backdrops to set their police chases under.
