Rockstar Games has done a fine job of keeping details about GTA VI under wraps, at least for the most part.
However, when a gameplay teaser for GTA VI was shared online, its authenticity was soon accidentally confirmed by Rockstar itself.
It somewhat removes the mystic surrounding the game, no?

Allow us to explain.
When oh when will we get more details about the game? For now, enjoy the one and only GTA VI trailer
On 13 September, Twitter account GTA 6 Countdown shared a bullet point breakdown of the latest GTA VI rumours.

A screenshot was included in the post but has since been removed by the copyright holder; arguably, this strengthens the notion that these rumours were indeed genuine.
This isn’t the only confirmation Rockstar gives though.
According to GTA 6 Countdown, the leak has been “pretty much been confirmed” because it claims that it received a DMCA from Take-Two Interactive.
So many teasers have been shared now that it’s hard to pinpoint exactly which element of the gameplay Take-Two took issue with the channel sharing.

Nonetheless, while we don’t know specifics, we do know that fans are getting tired with all this cloak and dagger hearsay.
“Shorter story than RDR2? That’s kinda disappointing,” commented Trxz.
Someone else remarked on the length of the new game saying, “’Shorter than RDR2’s story’, bro I’d hope. The Bible is a faster read then RDR2.”
Others believe that it’s actually the image Rockstar’s parent company took issue with and not any of the other information.

This claim has been challenged by the OP, though.
“This community note falsely claims that the DMCA was issued due to the AI image, even though the second post in the thread, which didn’t include any AI generated image but a direct screenshot of LegacyKilla’s post, was also taken down.”
It isn’t easy to ascertain what precisely led to Rockstar taking action.
Still, while it’s hard to narrow down fact from fiction, there was apparently something here that revealed too much about the upcoming title.

As far as many fans are concerned, that’s confirmation enough.
