Grand Theft Auto fans are brutally making fun of a GTA VI leaker for their terrible announcement date predictions.

In case you hadn’t noticed, Grand Theft Auto VI still hasn’t been announced, and there’s currently no concrete evidence to suggest when it will. Rockstar Games has been dead silent on the upcoming title, and it’s driving fans around the bend.

They’ve practically been going feral speculating and theorising when the game’s reveal will happen, with many having high hopes for late October, given Rockstar’s previous announcement history.

While some are taking a more logical approach to predictions, others have simply been throwing any and every possible date at the wall in the hopes something will stick.

Now though, fans are looking back on a previous “leaker”, who told fans in March that Rockstar would be revealing GTA VI in September 2023, and will also provide a release date of Fall 2024. This obviously didn’t happen, prompting the community to point and laugh at the false information and the leaker who shared it.

Quick_Difference5671 shared the original tweet in a post on Reddit, saying: “This aged like fine wine” before adding that the Twitter user has since changed their stance on the release date, saying they’re now “betting for October.”

Other fans joined in on the mockery, suggesting their own ideas for when GTA VI will be announced, and others accusing the leaker of simply fabricating rumours out of thin air for internet clout.

“GTA 6 will be announced on a day in the future”

“Bro is a professional bs spewer. Blocked me when I called him out on numerous Spider-Man 2 leaks being wrong.”

“I've seen that guy's other posts, he's a fraud.”

Hopefully, Rockstar does indeed have an announcement planned for October, as the impatience and outrage from waiting fans only continue to grow, with some even sending death threats to leakers who shared false predictions.

While we still don’t know when Grand Theft Auto VI will be revealed/released, we do know that it’ll launch on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5, with a PC release either happening at the same time or sometime after.
