Although Dying Light 2 offers a varied experience, a huge chunk of content has been missing from its gameplay.
To address this loss, a NexusMods free download has been created that attempts to retore the lost content.
When Dying Light 2 was showcased at E3 in 2019, it was done via a demo created for the event.

It was thought lost to time, yet Long Jump Collective intends to bring it back so that you can experience what you may have previously missed out on.
‘E3 Definitive Mod Demo (First Public Beta Test)’ has been designed to “restore as much content from 2019 as possible”.

What is more, it’ll implement “big changes in graphics/postprocessing, gameplay, weather, UI/UX, NPC models, parkour and textures”.

This is a recently created mod, meaning that some issues have yet to be ironed out.
Nonetheless, while this free download is still in its infancy, it’s received fairly positive feedback thus far.
One NexusMods user said, “100/10 for a demo.”
Another remarked, “This mod is fire.”

“To everyone who worked on this project, thank you guys so much. Bringing the true DL2 back to life!!” praised BizmoFunyunsz.
Deemed a “GOATED” mod, this is a freebie that Dying Light 2 fans should check out, especially if you need something new to challenge you as you fight to stay alive.
There’s an installation guide provided on its NexusMods page, so please make sure to read that before attempting to install ‘E3 Definitive Mod Demo’. We’d hate to see you struggle to access that new content because you were overeager.
This underrated game is one far too many players sleep on, and it’s a damn shame.

Maybe once said players see this new download, they’ll think about testing their survival skills as they fight through the zombie apocalypse.
