In an industry populated with remakes, remasters and re-releases, many gamers are thinking about which series they’d like to see return to the spotlight.
Capcom fans have been eating well with all the Resident Evil remakes, which don’t seem like they’re stopping anytime soon, but are now looking at other series the developer has in its portfolio, namely Dino Crisis.
Speaking of re-releases, check out Red Dead Redemption, out for Nintendo Switch and PS4 tomorrow
If you’re unfamiliar, Dino Crisis is essentially Resident Evil but swap the zombies for dinosaurs instead. Don’t be fooled though, the horror vibes are still very much present, as you’re constantly hunted by raptors, the T-Rex and more deadly creatures.

It was well-received amongst fans and critics but hasn’t had an entry in years, which is something gamers are hoping to change.
Reddit user Ghost6970 asked: “Should Dino Crisis get a remake?” and was met with a resounding yes from fans, many of which would love to see the series return.
“Yes, capcom has proven it can remake.
“Im dying for this, Capcom just do it in the Resident Evil engine and it's a money printer”

“The only answer to this is: yes”
It wasn’t just Dino Crisis though, others are hoping to see the turn-based RPG series, Parasite Eve, get a fresh coat of paint too, provided Square Enix is willing to give it the same treatment Final Fantasy VII received.
“Yes, also Dino Crisis 2. I'd also like Parasite Eve 1 & 2 as well. Also, galareans lol”
Honestly, remakes of both series would be spectacular, especially if they received the same love and attention Resident Evil and Dead Space got for their latest games.

Capcom is slowly running out of Resident Evil games to remake too, making it all the more viable that they’ll dust off Dino Crisis for a new audience. And hopefully, Square Enix do the same for Parasite Eve.
