Batman: Arkham Knight is being praised as one of the best action games ever, and rightfully so, it’s just that good.
Almost nine years ago Rocksteady Games casually released one of the best Batman games ever made, Batman: Arkham Knight, comparable only to Marvel’s Spider-Man in terms of stellar video game comic adaptations.
We played Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, and loved what we played! Check out our preview below
It had it all, an enormous open world Gotham, some of the caped crusader’s most iconic villains, the slightly controversial Batmobile and a great story on top of that. It also looked absolutely gorgeous, somehow still looking better than most new-gen releases, especially when you slap a few mods onto it.

You could go on for hours talking about how great it is, and while fans unanimously hail it as one of the best Batman games, they’re now going a step further and calling it one of the greatest action games.
This potentially hot-take was shared on Twitter by Mr Wayne, who said: “8 years ago today, Rocksteady delivered one of THE greatest action video games of ALL-TIME in ‘Arkham Knight.’”
Fans wholeheartedly agreed, many of whom shared their memories of the game in the comments, though not afraid to point out some of its shortcomings like the aforementioned Batmobile and those blasted Riddler trophies.

One simply called it “the greatest,” adding that it had “peak stealth, combat and graphics.”
Another said it’s “one of the best Batman games we ever got. Loved every minute of it. They did freaking amazing work.”
Then a different fan not only called it “the best Arkham game,” but also their personal choice for the “2nd best video game” they’d ever played.
Quite frankly Batman: Arkham Knight is deserving of the love it still gets, and while Rocksteady is moving on to Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, the Arkham trilogy remains the greatest set of the games the developer has made thus far.
