Overwatch porn is back on top thanks to Overwatch 2

In the random chaos of life, it's nice to know that there are some things we can cling to as being truly predictable. Overwatch 2 leading to a resurgence for Overwatch porn is very much one of those things.

To be fair, it's not as if Overwatch porn ever went away. It's been there happily plying its trade since 2016, affording fans of Activision Blizzard's hero shooter some special time in between games. But over the years it has gradually declined in popularity as thirsty gamers allow their trembling fingers to type things like "Fortnite" and "Minecraft" into the Pornhub search bar.

I haven't made that up, by the way. Fortnite and Minecraft were genuinely the two most-searched for video games in Pornhub in 2021. What does Minecraft porn look like? I don't know that I want to find out.

Anyway, Overwatch 2 has been out for a little over two weeks, and one of its characters has already shot back to the top of Pornhub's searches.

As spotted by Kotaku, everyone's favourite mech-equipped fighter D.Va recently found herself Pornhub's most lusted after character. She beat out other, more confusing search terms like Tesla and Pumpkin. I don't understand and I'm too afraid to ask.

Given that Overwatch 2 hasn't been out for that long yet, I daresay this is just the beginning. If Overwatch isn't the most searched for video game term again by the time Pornhub does its end of year roundup, I'll be genuinely surprised. Just do me a favour and keep your Minecraft porn to yourself, yeah? Yeah.
