A brand-new Batman series has been announced by DC Comics, as an ‘always-on’ podcast based on some of The Dark Knight’s most iconic stories.
This means that we’re getting another new Batman actor, but of course, this being an audio drama, it means we’re only getting their voice.
DC High Volume: Batman will hit podcast platforms on 2 April
DC High Volume: Batman will first adapt the Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli story, Batman: Year One.

The dramatisation will be a four-part series from a great voice cast, ready to bring one of the best Batman stories to a new audience.
Anne DePies, SVP and General Manager of DC has stated, “DC is committed to creating new ways to reach a broader audience with engaging, accessible and high-production value adaptations of our most iconic and essential Batman comic stories.”
The latest actor to don the cowl and put on a gravely voice is Jason Spisak, known for his work on Arcane and Young Justice.
DePies continued, saying, “We want to offer audiences who may be new to DC a jumping on point for the Batman franchise, driving them back to our books, while engaging existing fans, podcast enthusiasts and audiobook listeners with direct adaptations that bring their favorite stories to life as faithfully as possible.”
