The stunning Morrowind fan remaster is available to download now and it’s absolutely glorious, to say the least.
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind was first released for the PC and original Xbox way back in 2002. For some, Morrowind is the pinnacle of The Elder Scrolls series, even after more than two decades.
Morrowind has lived on somewhat in an official capacity over the years, such as being an expansion to The Elder Scrolls Online. However, we think it’s fair to say that nothing quite replicates playing the original. That is unless you can make the original experience even better for the modern generation.

Thankfully, that is exactly what talented modder trancemaster_1988 has achieved with Morrowind Rebirth, and best of all, it’s available to download now!
“Over a decade in the making, Morrowind Rebirth returns you to the world of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind as you've never seen it before,” reads the description of a previously released trailer. “Bringing you the lands of Vvardenfell, renewed and reborn, full of new adventures for you to discover, dungeons for you to delve, and artefacts for you to horde!
“With Morrowind Rebirth, every familiar sight feels new, and every twist in the path could bring you to new discoveries so that even 20 years after Morrowind's release, you'll be able to play the game as if it's your very first time!”
Morrowind Rebirth is an overhaul mod of the classic RPG game from Bethesda and was originally released in 2011. However, the most updated version, Morrowind Rebirth 6.2, not only improves visuals and performance but also adds new weapons, armour, tomb variations and much more. In a nutshell, this is the remaster that we’ve always wanted but was never officially released.
