LEGO is recruiting some of the MCU’s biggest names for its next release, including Iron Man, Spider-Man and Black Panther.

Thank you in advance to Richard Nebens over on The Direct for the original story!

As revealed by LEGO in a recent press release, a new set based on the famous airport battle scene in Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War will be available in less than a week on January 1, 2025.

The set will set you back $99.99, but considering what you get with it the price seems pretty reasonable.

The press release states that the “buildable playset is based on the airport battle scene from Marvel Studios' 'Captain America: Civil War'” and it will include 8 minifigures such as “Captain America, Winter Soldier, Wanda, Falcon, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Black Widow, and Black Panther – with weapons and accessories.”

The real star of the show is the “fully jointed Ant-Man” which is “over 9.5 in (24 cm) tall,” as well as The Quinjet which comes with “foldable wings and an opening cockpit that seats a minifigure pilot.”

The Ant-Man figure looks absolutely massive for a LEGO figurine, and will probably make the set a bit of a collectors item on its own for any LEGO fan.

The set comes with 736 pieces altogether, which includes the background scenery of the airport from the film (and some fun webbing pieces for Spider-Man to use).

There’s also some fun pieces you can use for Iron Man’s beams and Scarlet Witch’s magic, although it kinda looks like they’re firing Dragon Ball Z energy beams out of their hands to me.

The LEGO Builder app also features support for the set, which gives you instructions and detailed models to help you build it.

Makes me wonder which set they’ll release next. Maybe one based on the train fight at the end of Black Panther? One based on Guardians of the Galaxy would go kinda hard too.
