Feast your eyes on this absolutely amazing Fallout concept trailer from talented fan and filmmaker Brian Curtin - Amazon should certainly hire this team onto its own show, or at the very least, take some serious notes.
In 2020, Amazon announced that Westworld creators Lisa Joy and Jonah Nolan would be bringing the irradiated world of Fallout to the small screen, and our first teaser seemed to suggest that this will be a brand new story. It has an awesome confirmed cast at the moment, too, with Kyle MacLachlan, Walton Goggins, Aaron Moten, Xelia Mendes-Jones and Ella Purnell. And, in spite of it being a new story, we should expect to see plenty of acknowledgements towards the games, like the Super Duper Mart of Fallout 3 that was spotted in a set photo.

This concept trailer from Brian Curtin and their talented team is in fact inspired by Fallout 76. "For the bloodied wanderers who found beauty in a broken world, and those with the unyielding belief to build it," read the description of the trailer. The introduction is perfect, soaked in that glorious colour-grading that transports you to a nuclear golden age, and then as the bomb burns away all that is good, we're in a scorched Appalachia.
Survivors of all stripes eke out an existence and there are a handful of lovely shots of the red forests and the claustrophobic caves that we are familiar with in Fallout 76. It's clear a lot of care has gone into the concept trailer and I'm sort of sorry that the final scene is just the start of the Scorchbeast battle. A fully-fledged film with these characters fighting to cure the plague and resolve their differences along the way would be a pure chef's kiss.
