Harry Potter has had a less than magical time as of late. JK Rowling continues to be embroiled in the controversy surrounding her transphobic comments, tainting the franchise for many fans, and the latest instalment in the Fantastic Beasts’ film series has had a poor reception. The world’s supposedly most magical franchise is struggling to generate any magic.
Let me try and instil some of that magic back in you today. Cast your mind back to 2001. Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (or Sorcerer's Stone for my American folk) was released in cinemas and all you could dream about was receiving your very own Hogwarts letter, thus embarking on a wizarding adventure.
Take a look at the brand new trailer for Two Point Campus' wizarding course below.
That’s exactly what we get to do later this year when Hogwarts Legacy is finally released but if you need a wizarding fix to tide you over until then, we have just the Harry Potter inspired sim for you.

SEGA and Two Point Studios’ Two Point Campus is a business simulation game, set to release on 9 August 2022, where players build and manage their own university campus. What’s that got to do with Harry Potter? Well, the game is home to a Hogwarts-inspired university called Spiffinmoore where you can rule and manage your very own school of witchcraft and wizardry.
There are plenty of magical activities for you to enjoy including potions class and divination, plus you can engage in a wand duel with fellow students.
The game is scheduled to release on PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch so whatever your gaming preferences, there are plenty of options available. Two Point Campus is also scheduled to debut on Xbox Game Pass day one, so happy wizarding Potterheads.
