Hogwarts Legacy is a hefty game. Certainly, there are extra features fans would like to see in a potential sequel but oh my. It is so easy to get distracted. From Merlin Trials to breeding beasts to helping out your companions, chances are you’ll likely find yourself delaying completing the main missions pretty regularly.
One developer said it could take you upwards of 120 hours to see all that Hogwarts Legacy has to offer and I can understand how that’s the case. The Merlin Trials are a sticky subject, with some fans arguing that the sheer amount of time it takes to complete them doesn’t justify the reward. Personally, I’m fed up with seeing ‘Your gear slots are full’. I’ll take the extra space reward. You’ll also have the opportunity to help out your classmates. While Sebastian Sallow may be the best companion, you’ll also encounter Everett Clopton on your travels. Did you know that this Ravenclaw is portrayed by a Harry Potter film actor?
Someone has already modded PS1 Hagrid into the game. Take a look below.
It’s true. Everett Clopton is portrayed by actor Luke Youngblood who you may recall portrayed Lee Jordan in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and The Chamber of Secrets. Everett is somewhat of a school bully that you’ll encounter relatively early on in the game. When you experience your first flying lesson, you’ll accompany Everett on a short broom flight around the school grounds. If you’re a Ravenclaw, you can also speak to the character in the house common room.

According to IMDb, that’s not the only character Youngblood portrayed. He also voiced Arthur Plummly, Elek, and Ernie Lark. Arthur is a Hufflepuff student who you can locate to kickstart the ‘Cache in the Castle’ treasure hunting quest, while Elek is a centaur you’ll encounter during your missions with Poppy that focus on putting a stop to Rookwood’s poacher pack.
Finally, Ernie is a travelling musician who can be found in various hamlets around the map. If you tip him, the next time you see Ernie, he’ll add an extra instrument to his line-up which I’m learning just now. Will we ever uncover all of Hogwarts Legacy’s secrets?
