Hogwarts Legacy Quidditch DLC clues found by curious players

It's likely a long way off though.

Hogwarts Legacy's omission of the most famous and prestigious sport in the Wizarding World has rankled players before and after its launch. However, there is something to show for a possible return of Quidditch in the notes of the game's story.

Quibbles like these pale in comparison to the very real controversies that Hogwarts Legacy has suffered, such as the accusations of antisemitism and the association that the game has with the opinions of author J. K. Rowling. Even the game's own developers have chosen to not support the game, and fortunately, out of the divisions between fans, there have been hugely successful fundraisers for transgender individuals.

The official reason why Quidditch isn't included in Hogwarts Legacy is that there was a grievous injury on the pitch in the final of the last season. Players are able to complete "race challenges" and improve their skills on the broom with a class but that's about as much as they're allowed to do. For now.

Reddit user kolikkok argued that they think Quidditch is being set up as a DLC. They mention the notes from flying instructor Madam Kogawa that insinuate there has been a rise in cheating in the sport, but, there is still potential to redeem Quidditch at Hogwarts. "Every asset needed for Quidditch is already in-game. Brooms, uniforms, balls, and even the freaking Quidditch pitch is there! The only thing that seems to be missing is the actual code to play," added another.

This code would be difficult to implement, though. As stated by Reddit user DoctorSkeeterBatman, the game needs artificial intelligence to tell the players what to do in the match as well as reacting to different difficulties. There's the inclusion of the Quaffle, Bludgers and the Snitch to integrate into whatever else is happening on the screen. The commentators would also require a lot of work to call out specific motions and respond to victories and defeats.

Look, I don't mean to rain on anyone's parade here, but if it is on the way, Quidditch would likely require a lot of time to effectively add it into Hogwarts Legacy.
