Witches and wizards, the release of Hogwarts Legacy grows ever closer. Just a few short weeks ago, it was leaked that the game would include a PlayStation exclusive quest. Well, at yesterday’s State Of Play showcase, that quest was finally revealed. The Haunted Hogsmeade Shop actually looks surprisingly creepy as it showcases the darker side of the Wizarding World.
Take a look at the brand new trailer for The Haunted Hogsmeade Shop below.
The extra quest will be available for PlayStation owners who have ordered the Deluxe Edition of Hogwarts Legacy. They’ll get access to the extra dungeon (which looks to be full of haunted mannequins), the Shopkeeper’s Cosmetic Set, plus an in-game Hogsmeade shop.

The official synopsis reads, “Cassandra Mason has a shop to sell you in Hogsmeade, but all is not as it seems in this run-down establishment. What sinister secrets lie beneath Madam Mason’s shop and why was she so keen to sell it? That’s a mystery Hogwarts Legacy players will discover in The Haunted Hogsmeade Shop quest exclusively available on PlayStation platforms.” PlayStation pre-orders (any edition) will also come with a Felix Felicis potion recipe.
If you’re not a PlayStation owner, it’s not all bad news. The Haunted Hogsmeade Shop will eventually come to other platforms such as Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch. The quest will remain a PlayStation exclusive for one year, at which point it will then be made available to all players on 10 February, 2024.
