A Hogwarts Legacy player finds a shockingly rare event after 140 hours of playtime following an interaction with an NPC.

Hogwarts Legacy was only released in February 2023, yet players are discovering a seamlessly endless amount of secrets and surprises. For example, in recent weeks alone, a player has discovered that you can turn creatures into mundane objects, there’s a hidden Unforgivable Curse cutscene and someone found something totally gross in a bathroom, to name but a few.

However, yet another incredible secret has been discovered in Hogwarts Legacy. Though a word of warning, you may want to lie down for this shocking revelation. A player who seemingly doesn't know how to take a screenshot has shared an image of a Hogwarts student lying in a bed, in what looks to be the Hospital Wing.

“After 140 hours of playing, I found a person actually lying in bed,” posted Redditor jaraxoo. To be fair, after spending many hours playing Hogwarts Legacy, I don’t think I’ve noticed any NPCs lying in a bed. Though, I can’t say that I’ve been actively searching the halls and dorms for such phenomena.

As shocking as this image is, I can’t imagine being more shocked than this NPC waking up to find a random person watching them while they sleep. The weirdo!

That being said, when you zoom in on the image, the NPC's eyes are wide open. It almost looks like she knows that she’s being watched, but is paralysed with fear. This is no T-Rex from Jurassic Park young lady, get up and sprint like Forrest Gump!

In response to this curious image, the Reddit thread is full of typically random comments. “Laying on top of the blankets with their shoes on…classic video game sleeping pose,” said IMMARUNNER. “Tell that to my grandpa who went to bed with his shoes on, for whatever reason… lol,” replied holicv.

Yet, it seems that Redditor Aeki_Arg believes that this NPC has conniving motives, the skiver! “It seems that she is faking intestinal colic to avoid going to class. It is that she did not study anything,” they said.
