Hogwarts Legacy’s summer update didn’t exactly dazzle us, but there are certainly players enjoying its various offerings.
All Hogwarts Legacy players can now enjoy the ‘Haunted Hogsmeade Shop’ quest, previously a PlayStation exclusive.
The update also gifted players with the Glasses That Lived, Azkaban Prisoner’s outfit and coat, Felix Felicis Potion Recipe, Lavender Borealis Broom, as well as the Onyx Hippogriff Mount.

Players can also reset talent points, but it’s a new mode that’s proved to be the most popular addition.
Yes, Hogwarts Legacy finally received a photo mode so you can now capture the magic of the game to your heart’s content.
I’m surprised it took so long to finally add this feature in but better late than never, as they say.
It’s hardly going to draw players back en masse but it’s a nicely put together feature that’s certainly gone down well.

“Returned to the game just for photo mode,” Reddit user hylophxbia wrote, posting a series of stunning images.
Capturing the candlelit ceiling of the Great Hall, the dark passageways of the Room of Requirement, and the surrounding vistas of Hogwarts, hylophxbia demonstrates perfectly just how wonderful this new photo mode can be.

The OP went on to add that they’d begun a brand new playthrough to enjoy the mode, and they’re not alone.
“The update kind of reminded me of the game again and I’m hooked on starting over and collecting items around the castle,” added hufferpuffer4457.
I do wonder what’s next for the franchise.
A sequel is surely inevitably on the way, although let’s hope those live-service whispers are just that, whispers.

Let’s not also forget that Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier previously claimed that Rocksteady was supporting Avalanche on a Director’s Cut.
I’m almost certain that more magic is on the way.
