There is nothing like discovering a feature hundreds of hours down the line to make you feel humbled.

One Hogwarts Legacy player shared an in-game discovery that has rocked the world of several of their fellow gamers; this comes after 400 hours of playing the popular Harry Potter title, when we felt certain no other secrets remained.

Discovering entirely new hidden areas has become quite commonplace in Warner Bros Games’ titles, however, there are features hiding in plain sight, too.

One of which is being able to put your robe hood up.

“Bro WHAT,” asked one fan that was clearly shook to their core at learning this vital piece of information.

What will you discover in Hogwarts Legacy?

If you’re only just learning that you can put your character’s hood up, we’re right there with you. How did we miss this simple feature?

All you need to do is press “Y or Triangle when you hover the cursor over the coat/robe/cloak gear item,” explained a fan far more experienced than us. They added, “It tells you which button to press at that time.”

You’ll need to excuse us as we rush back to our game and test this out for ourselves. My character is struggling to process lyrics from a certain newly released album; she needs a moment, and that hood being up will help.

What else might we discover as we keep returning to this game? FromSoftware fans have already uncovered a cool open world detail that brought them a smile, leaving us wondering if any other secrets are left to be found...

Love or hate this game, it keeps gifting us with more lore and subtle details we never expected – from underwater secrets to hidden caves that 75 percent of us have missed.

Now go forth and enjoy wearing your hoods up, be it because your character needs to shut others out, or because they’re about to do something wicked.
