The long-awaited Hogwarts Legacy summer update is finally right around the corner, and it’ll add a brand-new quest for Xbox, PC and Nintendo Switch players alongside other assorted features for all platforms.
Despite all of its accolades, Hogwarts Legacy is widely considered a game with so much missed potential, specifically the lack of DLC expansions.
Check out Hogwarts Legacy below.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is home to so many characters, locations and creatures, many of which could become their own DLC packs for the game, but it seems like Avalanche is uninspired on what to do with the game next.

That being said, there is an update on the way that’ll add a new quest to the game, depending on what platform you’re playing on.
It’s none other than The Haunted Hogsmeade Shop mission, which was previously exclusive to the PlayStation 5 version of the game.
The mission takes the player through a creepy store filled with mannequins that shift and move and follow you around the building.
Why this was a PlayStation 5 exclusive is beyond me, but it was said ages ago that the mission would be added to other versions of the game in a summer update, though no release date was given.

While that hasn’t changed, the official Hogwarts Legacy Twitter page has shared an update, telling players to keep their eyes peeled this week for information on the long-awaited update.
Again there was no word on when we can expect it to drop, though there’s the possibility it’ll be shadow-dropped before the end of the week.
The alternative is it’ll be released for all platforms sometime in June, meaning players on Xbox, PC and Nintendo Switch will finally be able to play all available quests, without having to jump to another platform.
The Haunted Hogsmeade mission is a wild ride, so whenever it gets added be sure to check it out as soon as you can.

Let's not forget about those additional 'updates' and 'features' also due to be announced for all platforms too. Plenty to look forward to.
