Hogwarts Legacy is yet to release on a further three platforms, yet fans are already desperate for DLC content - and most are agreed that visiting Diagon Alley is a must-play experience that needs to come to the game.

We’re not far away from the previous-gen release. Hogwarts Legacy will launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 5 May, followed by Nintendo Switch on 25 July. It’s slightly odd that we’re yet to see any Switch gameplay footage. To celebrate the game’s second launch, new content is being released next week, but it’s far from what fans had in mind. It’s no secret that Hogwarts Legacy is missing some components that could truly elevate it, like a companion system or working Quidditch mini-game. It’s Diagon Alley that players are really desperate to visit though.

Reddit user TSG-M4nic made the suggestion, writing, “I have been brainstorming and thought of a DLC idea that I’d like to share with you. The title of this DLC would be ‘The Diagon Alley DLC.’” The user went on to add that it would feature “shops that aren’t present in Hogsmeade” and you could “unlock new side quests or further main missions that could focus on the Dark Arts.” The nearby Knockturn Alley could definitely provide for some Dark Arts themed missions.

It was suggested that you could travel to Diagon Alley via Hosgmeade Station on the game’s regular map. Lady_Locket added, “Maybe after you've arrived you can light floo points in the Leaky Cauldron, Ollivanders, Borgin and Burkes and others as you do quests that open up more and more of the shops.”

Kyguyartist suggested that on the journey over you could add a “DLC story with antics while riding the train like in Prisoner of Azkaban.” I’m sold. Hopefully, we’ll see some DLC content in the near future.
